We have started 2023 at a pace installing a number of insulated conservatory roofs to upgrade the original poly carbonate roofs.
If you have a conservatory with an old poly carbonate roof or a glass roof you will be familiar with the heat loss in winter and the heat gain in summer.
Whilst glass may have better insulating properties than the poly roofs, the difference with a solid insulated roof is simply stunning.
Most conservatories can be fitted with these lightweight roofs. The process is simple involving the removal of your existing roof, fitting a aluminium ring beam and building the new roof on your old frames. A plastered interior ceiling with down lighters then gives your conservatory a new lease of life and you gain a room you can use all year too.
